Join Rich Willows for four days of exploring and interpreting our special environment through watercolors. Learn to paint the ocean, sea life, the flora and fauna of this rich island. Rich is a wonderful college instructor and accomplished watercolor artist with years of experience. Rich will help you begin or improve your skills in painting. Pottery Class
Wednesdays, beginning May 14th for four weeks 6:00 PM until 8:30 PM $85
Steve Dark will be teaching a pottery class beginning May 14th on Wednesday nights for four weeks. Beginners through advanced students are welcome. Students can explore hand building, sculpting, wheel throwing, glazing in this class. Come enjoy working in the clay.
Exploring Mixed Media with Acrylics
Tuesdays, beginning April 13th for four weeks 9:00am -12pm $70
Join this enthusiastic class as they develop painting skills beginning with acrylics and adding other media. Zach Baisden instructs in mixed media methods for abstract and representational paintings. Explore with Zach the possibilities of mixed media on canvas. Zach Baisden has a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts and a Master in Art Education. The Art Center is delighted to have this excellent artist teaching. His 35 years of teaching experience will help you advance or begin your painting skills.
