Scarecrow Building Tips
Have a plan!
The Head
Paint or otherwise design your face.  Stuff bag with hay, top with yarn hair, or hat. Attach  the head to the top of the post by pulling it down onto  the top of the post and tying it with twine around the  "neck". 

The Body 
Dress your frame with the clothes before you begin to  stuff. Pack pants and shirts tightly with hay. Close  pants legs and sleeves with twine or rubber bands. Attach pants with rope to cross bar pants or pin  pants to shirt to prevent them from sliding down.

Finishing Touches 
Add fun things like gardening gloves, a cape, a sun bonnet, silk flowers...whatever you can imagine and make your scarecrow something to talk about!
